Phyllis J. Onoff, 82, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at home. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she worked for Dr. F. John Sullivan for many years. Phyllis was deeply rooted in her love of family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a love of pets, gardening, reading and feeding the birds.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Frank Jr., in 2005.
Surviving are her daughters, Sharla (Kevin) Christopher, Cynthia (Douglas) Brodhead and Mariann (Bill) Durkin; sons, Frank (Maria) III, Andrew (Jodi) and Timothy (Lisa); brothers, Robert (Pat) Holcomb and James (Alma) Holcomb; grandchildren, Ryan, Kelli, Matthew, Chelsea, Stephen, Alex, Shayne, Shannon, Meghan, Teresa, Nina, Olivia, Carly, Holly, Noah, Lila, Sophia and Aaron; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Phyllis' many caregivers.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Saturday, January 21 at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Phyllis will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
