Phillip J. Sega, 89, of Dryden, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 11, 2018. Phil owned and operated the Sega Dairy Farm for more than 70 years, working hard and providing for his family. His family adored him.
"On the eighth day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, 'I need a caretaker', so God made a farmer."
Phil was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne; and son, Jon.
He is survived by his children, Joseph (Sherri), Jilleen (Tony) Chang, Julie, Jennifer (Brian), and James; daughter-in-law, Donna; sister, Emily English; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their deepest, heartfelt gratitude to the Elderwood caregivers for their loving, compassionate care.
Phil’s life will be celebrated by the family in a private ceremony.
Friends may make contributions to the Virgil Volunteer Fire Dept., 1195 W. State Rd., Cortland, NY 13045.
