Pearl (Vanpatten) Menzies, 95, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born and raised in Ira, Pearl and her husband sold the family farm and moved to Baldwinsville in 1970. A graduate of Cato High School, she retired after 20 years as a dental hygienist. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, and taking her daily walks. Pearl loved spending time with family and friends, especially her granddaughter, Danielle.
Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Vincent, in 1999; son, Michael, in 1963; granddaughter, Danielle, in 2016; three sisters; and five brothers.
Surviving are her sons, Lawrence (Shirley) of Auburn, Danny (Patty) of Clay and John (Laraine) of Phoenix, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, September 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Pearl will be laid to rest in Cato Union Cemetery.
