Paulyne Denmark, 77, formerly of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at home. Born in Elmira on Monday, September 7, 1931, she was the daughter of Archibald Baxter Denson and Ida Bell Gingher Denson. She lived in Waterloo from 1972 until moving to the Syracuse area in 2004. Paulyne was a graduate of Elmira Heights High School and a 1969 graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Health Education. An Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, she served in the Women's Army Corps. She was a dental hygienist at Seneca Army Depot in Romulus and retired in 1993 after many years as a health teacher with several various school districts. A member of the Baldwinsville American Legion, Paulyne was also a former communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waterloo. An animal lover and avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and John Borza of Florida and Rebecca and Fred Greis of Liverpool; and grandchildren John, Thomas, Frances, Timothy and Camille. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Relatives and friends may call preceding the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira.
