Paula J. Relyea, 47, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Francis House after a courageous 12-year fight with cancer. She was born in Malone on Sunday, December 9, 1962 and was the daughter of Earl Roswell Cutler and Wilda Florence Rabideau Cutler. She was raised in Moira and lived in Liverpool after college until moving to Camillus in 1989. Paula was a graduate of Brushton-Moira Central High School in 1981 and Clarkson University in 1985. She worked 21 years with National Grid. A communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Paula was also a past member and president of the Society of Women Engineers. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Wilda Cutler. Surviving are her husband of 19 years, David, and son, Sean, both of Camillus; sisters and brother-in-law, Sherry and Peter LaPlaca of Vernon, Connecticut and Karen Harrison of Massena; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Susan Cutler of Norfolk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Elaine Relyea of Webster; sister-in-law, Amy (Gregg) Kneipp of Spotsylvania, Virginia; 11 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews and many special friends. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 in St. Joseph’s Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 1 to 5 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church. Arrangements are by Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. Paula will be laid to rest in the spring at Calvary Cemetery, Norwood, New York.
