Paul V. Nesterowicz

Paul V. Nesterowicz, 85, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at University Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. Paul graduated from Lincoln Junior High School and received his associate degree from CCBI. He was an Army and Navy veteran of the Korean War. Paul was employed with the Sheetmetal Workers Local 58 for over 25 years. He was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and member of the Italian American Vendetti Post, Italian American Athletic Club and Polish Home. Paul was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to the casino. Above all, he loved spending time with family.

Paul was predeceased by his wife, Helene, in March 2021; and siblings, Joseph, Peter, Stanley, Mary, Sophie and Frances.

Surviving are his children, Paul (Cynthia) Nesterowicz of Munnsville, Patricia Simko of Baldwinsville and Michelle (Mark) Robinson of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Jon Simko, Mark and Joe Robinson and Shannon Nesterowicz; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, June 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 19 at 9:30 a.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 927 Park Ave., Syracuse. Paul will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
