Patrick G. Germinio

Patrick G. Germinio, 65, of Camillus, passed away Saturday at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born in Syracuse, he grew up in Warners and ran his own janitorial business. Patrick was a car and motorcycle enthusiast, racing with his nephews and attending car shows. He relished his time in Florida, doing yard work, going to the casinos to “push buttons”, and was a Yankees and SU basketball fan. Patrick loved dancing and music, especially the oldies. Above all, he truly loved spending time with his family, friends, and his greatest joy, his daughter, Kim.

Patrick was predeceased by his father, Patsy; brother, Joseph Sr.; and brother-in-law, Gary Smith.

Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Germinio (James Laubenstein) of Camillus; mother, Shearl “Bonnie” Germinio of Camillus; sister, Patricia Smith of Camillus; nieces, Patsy Delano and Holly Mayersky; nephews, Joseph, Anthony, and Jason Germinio; and several cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Patrick will be laid to rest in Greeenlawn Cemetery in Warners.
