Patricia (Winkelmann) Wells

Patricia (Winkelmann) Wells, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. She was born on June 21, 1938 to the late Paul and Josephine Winkelmann in Little Falls. She later moved to Camillus with her parents and siblings and graduated from West Genesee High School. Patricia, affectionately known as “Mom” by many, spent most of her career in the transportation industry. She worked for Laidlaw, Golden Arrow and drove for Syracuse and Oswego. She finished her career at Centro working in administration. Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo and going to car shows with her sister, Joan in the T-bucket they inherited from their brother, Andy.

Patricia was predeceased by her sons, James and Michael; and brother, Andy.

Surviving are her sons, Joseph and Richard; grandchildren, Zachery, Gabrielle and Molly; and sisters, Monica Eades and Joan Winkelmann.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, September 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Face coverings are required.
