Patricia P. Mooney, 83, of Camillus, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General with her husband, Jim and close family friend, Brian by her side. She was born and raised in Jordan and lived in Camillus most of her life. A 1955 graduate of Nottingham High School, she also attended SU. Pat was a music student and continued to love classical music her whole life. Before becoming a homemaker, Pat worked in the offices of Crucible Steel. A member of the Camillus Eastern Star, she started fish dinners and served as matron in 1975. Pat did antique shows with her husband for Attic Mouse. She also enjoyed fine arts and art glass. She loved Halloween so much that her husband setup a cemetery in their backyard for her enjoyment. Patricia was predeceased by her sister, Suzanne Powell, in 2009. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, James Mooney; son, Dr. Scott (Dr. Renee) P. Mooney of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Corinne and Brett; sister-in-law, Patricia Sharike of Baltimore, MD; brothers-in-law, Paul (Mary Jane) Mooney of Jordan, and Joseph (Betty) Mooney of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There were no calling hours. Funeral services were private in Church of the Saviour, Syracuse. Burial was private.
