Patricia G. Thurston

Patricia G. Thurston, 81, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at The Centers at St. Camillus. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was co-manager of Syracuse Art-Mart and employed with Hiscock, Cowie, Bruce, Lee & Mawhinney for 16 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. An avid reader, Patricia also enjoyed winters in Florida, walks on the beach and spending time in the sunshine. Above all, she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, John and Ruby Arnold.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Edward; daughter, Suzanne (Kevin) Shanahan of Syracuse; son, Michael Thurston of Daytona Beach, FL; daughter-in-law, Lisa Thurston of Liverpool; grandchildren, Jessica and Caleb Thurston and Edward Shanahan; and great-granddaughter, Liliana Hand.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, January 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 30 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Patricia will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
