Patricia A. Kaljeskie

Patricia A. Kaljeskie, 59, of Solvay, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Community General Hospital. Born in Carthage on Friday, May 6, 1949, she was the daughter of Frederick Allen Barkley and Leona Ethel Bercume Barkley. She was a graduate of Carthage High School. Patricia was a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, communicant of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her family. Her brother, Frederick Barkley, died in 2000. Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Robert; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Christopher Tice of Camillus; sons, Rob and Jim, both of Solvay; sister, Faith Barkley of Anniston, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Mary Barkley of Watertown; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 22, 2009 from noon to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Patricia will be laid to rest in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
