Patricia A. Amodio

Patricia "Patty" A. Amodio, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Tampa General Hospital.  She was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area.  In 1958, Patty was in the first graduating class of West Genesee High School.  She spent her winters in Florida with her husband and loved to garden, fish and go camping. Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Keehfus. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Vito  Antonio "Tony" Amodio of Syracuse; daughter, Teri (Brian) Laudenslager of Roseburg, OR; son, Vito (Heather) Amodio Jr of Syracuse; sisters, Charlotte Lasinski of Camillus and Joan Keehfus of Solvay; grandchildren, Christian and Ava Marie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Monday, March 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 29 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church.  Entombment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia's name may be made to the American Lung Association of the Northeast, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
