Patricia A. Alberts, 76, of Camillus, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 at home. Born in Clinton on Wednesday, July 19, 1933, she was the daughter of Owen John Mulholland and Agnes McCabe Mulholland. She was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. Pat was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center for more than 20 years. A communicant of St. Cecilia's Church, she also served as a Eucharistic minister and lector. Pat was also an avid SU sports fan and enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. Her husband, Eugene M. Alberts, died November 21, 2003. She was also predeceased by her brother, James Mulholland, and sister, Frances Mulholland. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael E. and Donna Alberts of Onondaga Hill, Edward A. and Lisa Alberts of Baldwinsville and Timothy J. and Stephanie Alberts of Syracuse; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Pat and Dan Sprague of Rochester; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Ann Mulholland of Camillus; sister, Mary Gridley of Camillus; 14 grandchildren, Owen, Colin, Michael, Bridget, Brennan, Molly, Ryan, Elaine, Daniel, Luke, Kevin, Emma, Alexandra and Adeline; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 2 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call Monday, March 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pat will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. The family of Pat would like to express their gratitude for the loving care and support received by her friends and staff at the Liverpool Dialysis Center.
