Orlie T. Johnson, 73, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was born Friday, July 28 1939 and was the son of Orlie D. Johnson and Helen B. Connors Johnson. Orlie was a graduate of Nottingham High School and a 1962 graduate of Le Moyne College. He was owner of Johnson's Business Forms for over 30 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and member of the Camillus Rotary Club. Orlie enjoyed golf, was an avid NY Yankee fan, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Mary Catherine Sakowski; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Michael Wylie of Ellington, Connecticut; sons and daughters-in-law, O. Thomas and Cheryl of Laramie, Wyoming, Robert and Denise of McHenry, Illinois, and Stanley and Chris of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren, Tommy, Alex, Emily and Sage Johnson and Allison and Abigail Wylie; brother-in-law, James Popielarczyk; sisters-in-law, Frances and Joanne Popielarczyk; and nephew, Harvey Bell. Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, August 14 at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
