Olympia "Lee" (DeLorenzo) Raab, 92, of Westvale, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Francis House. Born in Syracuse on January 31, 1925 to the late Maurice and Carmela DeLorenzo. Lee was a 1943 graduate of North High School and lived in Westvale since 1954. She retired in 1990 from the NY State Court System. Lee and Bob traveled to many places in the US and Europe to sight-see and visit relatives. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lee was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa D'Onofrio, Frances Ripberger and Margaret Nicit; brother, Sylvester DeLorenzo; and cousin, Francis DeFina.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Bob; daughter, Phyllis (Ron) Muir of Syracuse; sons, Philip and Eric (Alberta), both of Syracuse; brother, Emil (Mary) DeLorenzo of Syracuse; grandson, Jonathan (Jaclyn) Raab of Camillus; step-grandchildren, Rebecca (Richard Malcom) Muir and David Muir; four step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Victor Raab of Camillus; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Francis House for their loving care and compassion given to Olympia.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, February 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Friday, February 10 at 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home and 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Lee will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
