Nora Moran

Nora Moran, 71, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born and raised in Syracuse, she lived in Camillus since 1970 and was a 1960 graduate of Central High School. She retired after 15 years with the Town of Camillus. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Nora loved the outdoors, especially playing tennis and fishing. She was a member of the Camillus Art Guild. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, John F. Sr.; sons, John F. (Cheryl) Jr. of Syracuse and Christopher of Camillus; sisters, Sheila (John) Settineri of Camillus, Betty (James) Sauve of Onondaga Hill and Mary Moran of Chino Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan and Sean; and several nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 24 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Nora will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nora's name to the St. Camillus Foundation, 813 Fay Rd., Syracuse, NY 13219.
