Nina Kishova, 88, of Solvay, passed away peacefully on Sunday at home. Born and raised in Kazakhstan, she dedicated over 40 years of her life to nursing, retiring in 1995. In 2005, she immigrated to the United States, where she became an active member of the Slavic Baptist Church. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she was a devoted member of the church choir in Kazakhstan for 47 years.
Nina cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering faith, and deep love for those around her.
Nina leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be treasured by all who knew her.
Nina was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Natalia Mukaseev; four brothers; and one sister.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Yuriy Kishov; daughters, Larissa (Nikolay) Kishov and Lyubov (Ivan) Zholobova; son, Yuriy (Svetlana) Kishov; sisters, Ludmyla and Nadezhda Mukaseev; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and niece, Natalia (Andrew) Okhman.
To celebrate Nina’s life, first service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Slavic Baptist Church, 4176 Split Rock Rd., Camillus.
A second service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the church.
Nina will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
