Nikolay Pashchuk, 89, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday. Born in Knyazhe, Ukraine, he moved to the Syracuse area in September of 1992. Nikolay was a member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. He was a truck driver for 30 years and loved reading the Bible, being a handyman and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Nikolay was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, the former Sofiya Pundyk; sons, Vasiliy and Victor; brother, Eugene; and sister, Ana.
Surviving are his children, Nikolay (Antonina) Pashchuk, Leonard (Nadia) Pashchuk, Halyna (Nikolay) Biskupets, Olga (Nikolay) Melnik, Svetlana (Nikolay) Soyko; daughter-in-law, Antonina Pashchuk; 40 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, October 27 from 5 to 7 p p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 West Genesee St., Camillus. Face masks are required,
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 28 at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
