Nicholas "Nick" Petrocci

Nicholas Nick Petrocci Jr., 92, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Geres Lock on Thursday, February 11, 1915, he was the son of Nicholas and Concetta Perrotta Petrocci. He was a lifetime resident of the Camillus area. Nick was formerly employed by Frazer & Jones Co. and the Camillus Cutlery. A hard-working and gentle man, he was a long-time dairy farmer in Camillus. Surviving are his beloved wife of 66 years, the former Anna Marie Cangemi; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Larry Moloff of DeWitt, Connie and Richard Babcock of Camillus and Nicki Petrocci McCarthy of Camillus; sister, Grace Cangemi of Fairmount; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2007 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Friends may call Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Isle Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.
