Nancy Petrivelli Hoppes

Nancy Petrivelli Hoppes, 54, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born on Thursday, July 12, 1956, she lived in New Jersey for many years before moving back to Syracuse in 2003. Nancy was very giving and loved children and animals. Nancy was predeceased by her father, Francis Albert Petrivelli in 1992. Surviving are her son, David Petrivelli of Pennsylvania; her mother, Arlene Angwin Petrivelli of Camillus; sisters and brother-in-law, Elaine and Leon Gordon of Syracuse and Janice Petrivelli of Camillus; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Jennie Petrivelli of Liverpool and Ronald and Susan Petrivelli of Syracuse; husband, James Hoppes of West Orange, New Jersey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be Friday, October 15 at 11 a.m. in Fairmount Community Church United Church of Christ. Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
