Nadia Morgun, 66, of Lakeland, passed away Friday at University Hospital. Born in Ukraine, she moved to the United States in 1998. Nadia worked at a furniture company for 12 years. She was a member of First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. Nadia loved gardening and cooking, but most of all, she loved her God. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
Nadia was predeceased by her parents; and son, Andriy.
Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years, Sergey; daughter, Lyuba of Camillus; sister, Mariya (Ivan) Panchak of Liverpool; brothers, Stepan (Svitlana) Ivanchuk of Ukraine and Nick (Lidia) Ivanchuk of Liverpool.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 15 and the first service will follow at 6 p.m. at First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd., Syracuse, NY 13209.
The second service will be Tuesday, March 17 at 10 a.m. at First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. Nadia will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
