Muriel Bradley, 84, of Rhinebeck, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse. Born in Danbury, Connecticut on Friday, November 19, 1926, she was the daughter of John Gilbert and Irene Folls Gilbert. She lived in Rhinebeck for the past 37 years. Muriel was active in the AARP. She remained an active friend of the Culinary Institute of America after her husband, Edward Howes Bradley, passed away in March 1996. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Tom Ryan of Camillus, and Kathy and Billy Chesney of Philadelphia, Mississippi; sons and daughtersin-law, John E. and Mary Ann Bradley of Liverpool, and Paul and Carla Bradley of Charlevoix, Michigan; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Doris and Robert Brought and Carolynn Morgado, all of Danbury, Connecticut; and brother and sister-in-law, John and Brenda Gilbert of Danbury, Connecticut. Graveside services in Rhinebeck will be private. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chef Edward H.
