Michael Joseph Letizia, Jr., 52, of Camillus passed away November 11 at home. Born in Medford, Massachusetts, Michael resided in the Syracuse area since 1969. A West Genesee High School graduate, he attended Hudson Valley Community College and St. Elizabeth School of Radiologic Technology. Michael was employed as a MRI technologist for many years but most recently was a CDL truck driver. Michael was an all-star high school football player. He played softball for many years and enjoyed playing golf with his son, his dad, his brother Mark, brother-in-law, Toby, relatives, and friends. He was an avid sports fan but his passion was attending his son’s football, track and wrestling events. Michael was always the loudest fan in the crowd. He loved spending Sunday afternoons with his son and dad, eating and watching sporting events. Michael's daughter, Jessica is a special needs young lady that we all love and cared for. He tried to spend as much time as he could with her and Jessica's smile always warmed his heart. Michael loved family and was always getting advice from his sister, Lisa. Conversations with his mother were a favorite, they would be filled with laughter and an exchange of recipes since Michael loved to cook. He also relished in gardening with a true appreciation for the outdoors.

Letizia III; daughter, Jessica Letizia, both of Baldwinsville; parents, Michael and Patricia Letizia of Camillus; sister, Lisa (Toby) Violi of Massena; brother, Mark (Jill) Letizia of Camillus; nieces and nephews, Nicole, Matthew, Annabelle, Rocco and Violet; godparents, Louis (Rosemary) Letizia; aunts and uncles, Francis (Phyllis) Letizia, Nancy Pierce, Pamela Baker and Bill Pierce and several cousins.
