Menka Sekovska, 92, of Baldwinsville, passed away Wednesday at home. Born and raised in Macedonia, she moved to the Syracuse area in 1970. Menka was a factory worker for over 10 years at Julius Resnick, Inc. and EDCO Filters, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church since 1970. She was a talented crocheter and sewer who also loved to cook, bake and garden.
Menka was predeceased by her parents, Stefo and Gurga Mitrevski; son, Vasko Sekovski; two sisters; and son-in-law, Ice Razmovski.
Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Trajan Sekovski; daughter, Violeta Razmovski of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; one daughter-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be held Monday, November 7 at 11 a.m. in St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5083 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse.
Menka will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
