MaryJean Kane, 89, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Loretto. Born in Syracuse, she moved to the Camillus area in 1954. MaryJean received a bachelor’s degree from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and volunteered at Maxwell Memorial Library. MaryJean enjoyed playing Bunco and working on crossword puzzles, but most of all, loved spending time with her family. MaryJean was predeceased by her husband, Thomas “Dick” Kane, in 1988; and brother, Donald Welch. Surviving are her daughter, Judy (Keith Pringle) Rowe of Rochester; son, Chris (Theresa) of Camillus; sister, Joanne Moore of Kirkville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in MaryJean's name to the Wanderers Rest Humane Association Inc., 7138 Sutherland Dr., Canastota, NY 13032.
