Maryann (Hart) Ridgway, 63, of Syracuse,passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Francis House. Born in Brooklyn, she was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area and graduate of Bishop Ludden High School and Maria Regina College. An Air Force veteran, Maryann served in the Vietnam Era. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Ch. 30 and enjoyed bingo, gardening, music and crafts. Maryann was predeceased by her parents, Monroe and Frances Hart; brothers, Monroe S. Hart Jr. and Peter J. Hart Sr.; and sister, Frances Hart. Surviving are her daughters, Kelley (Christopher) Bigness and Krysten Ridgway, both of Syracuse; sister, Sister Noel Hart of Savannah, GA; brothers, Raymond Hart and William (Margaret) Hart, both of Syracuse; grandchildren, Kaylie and Christopher; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, January 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Afuneral Masswill be celebrated Thursday, January 8 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Maryann will be laid to rest at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday, January 9 at 1:30 p.m..
