Mary Tolman, 77, of New York City, passed away Saturday at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero. She was a lifetime resident of New York City. A graduate of Washington Irving High School, her employment in healthcare for 25 years included Mount Sinai Hospital, New York University, Memorial Sloan Kettering and St. Luke’s Hospital.
Mary ‘s interests included traveling, crocheting, dancing, good food, a good time and being able to make people smile. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Barry Tolman, in 1995; and parents, Peter and Edith Infanti.
Surviving are her son, Ian (Debbie) Tolman of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, Jill (Stephen) Eron of Camillus; grandchildren, Allison, Ashley and Alex; niece, Iris Shedlock; of South Carolina; nephew, Brett Gross of Japan; and sister-in-law, Elaine (Larry) Gross of South Carolina.
A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, February 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee Street, Camillus, NY 13031.
