Mary Theresa (Forgan) Paddock, 76, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Loretto. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she graduated from the Convent School, Marywood College and Le Moyne College.
Mary was employed with the West Genesee Central School District for over 35 years, retiring in 2001. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Mary was a gifted teacher and an avid fisherman. She especially enjoyed catching perch on Lake Ontario. She also enjoyed traveling across the country by RV and when at home, loved spending time with her family. Mary was fond of making crafts and took pride in wrapping and giving beautiful, thoughtful gifts.
The family wishes to thank the 4th and 13th floor of Loretto for their loving care given to Mary.
Surviving are her one true love in life and companion, Tom Hobert of Marcellus; daughters, Stephanie (Dave) Marsh of Baldwinsville and Betsy (Ed) Lehmann of Syracuse and Katherine (Jay) Hobert of Marcellus; son, Michael Hobert of Virginia; grandchildren, Casey, Brittany, Emily, Erin, Genna, Peter, Madeline, Laurel and Nicholas; and great-grandsons, Nicolas and Douglas.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Spring burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.
