Mary Reedy

Mary G. Reedy, 93, of Fairmount, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Community General Hospital. Born in Mayville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 18, 1916, she was the daughter of Paul Milea and Mary Casille Milea. Mary lived in Syracuse since 1953. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and member of the funeral choir. She enjoyed bowling and baking breads and cookies. Mary was predeceased by her husband, John J. Reedy, on July 31, 1978 and sister, Angelina Migliore. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Kimberly Reedy of Marcellus; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and David Garlock of Springville; sister, Rose King of Highland Park, New Jersey; brother, Anthony Milea of North Brunswick, New Jersey and 10 grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 16 in Holy Family Church. Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Mary will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse, NY 13219.
