Mary “Patsy” Gridley, 72, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2014. A communicant of Holy Family Church, she was a former member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and opened her home as a host family for Project Children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, William, in 2007; and brother, Joseph Francis Grady. Surviving are her sons, William (Tracy) of Cicero and Joseph (Maureen) of Syracuse; sister, Catherine (Robert) Murray of Florida; brothers, John (Patricia) Grady of Ohio, James (Sandra) Grady of Florida, Michael (Mary) Grady of North Carolina and Mark (Georgia) Grady of Westvale; grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Luke, Connor, Colin and Camryn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, February 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 26 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Mary will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
