Mary Joyce Kudlick

Mary Joyce Kudlick, 85, of Onondaga Hill, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Loretto, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Mary and Earl Moran.  Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was always there with a story to share, a hug, a meal (minimum of 20), or to lend a hand or remodel a room (hide the hammer).  Joyce was generous with her time.  An active communicant of The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter, she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Bethany Guild.  She always had a dollar or two to pass along to those who needed help, including family, friends or complete strangers.  Her love was dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce was predeceased by her huband, Stephen Kudlick, whom she was happily married to for 52 years; and her brothers, William and Francis "Fritz" Moran. Surviving are her children, Mary (Kevin) Hayes, John Kudlick, Michael (Jane) Kudlick, Chris (Del) Wilsey and Rita (John) Tighe; grandchildren, Jeff (Sarah), Emily and Stacey Hayes, Adam, Riley (Rachel) and Tyler (Kristy) Kudlick, Marissa, Nick and Aaron Tucci, Dylan and Kyle Tighe; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Brielle and Samatha; brother, John Moran (Louise O'Brien); several nieces and nephews; and "Fritz's" companion, Linda Newman. Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 23 at 10 a.m. in The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter. Joyce will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
