Mary C. Wilson, 94, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born and raised in Schenectady, Mary lived in the Syracuse area since 1961. She attended the University of Kansas and retired from the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office. She was also a long time member of Westvale Golf Club. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Charles Wilson, in 1979; parents, Charles and Antonia Contompasis; sister, Isabel C. DiCocco; and brothers, James and Chris Contompasis. Surviving are her sons, Christopher and Charles Wilson, both of Syracuse; sister, Ethel Kouray of Schenectady; sister-in-law, Helen Trinci of Schenectady; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, March 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A Trisagion service will be at 6 p.m. A second visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11 in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 107 Clinton St., Schenectady. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Mary will be laid to rest in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
