Mary Ann (Thorne) Kilner, 83, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Born in Scranton, PA, she moved to the Syracuse area and graduated from Central Tech High School. Mary Ann was employed with Hopkins & Reilly Mason Contractors as a bookkeeper for 30 years. Following her retirement, she worked for the West Genesee School District in food service for 10 years. Mary Ann was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, taking care of her pets, going to casinos and Elvis. She loved spending time with her family and was commonly called Amma by her grandchildren.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her brothers, Angelo and Anthony Dabbiero and Charles Thorne Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Karen Fredericks of Camillus; brother, Louis Thorne of Central Square; grandchildren, Michael, Adam and Kelly (John Drapikowski) Fredericks; beloved dogs, Penelope and Kyra; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 8 at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Mary Ann will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
