Mary Ann Fortino Fatcheric, 69, of the village of Camillus, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at Community-General Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Monday, August 1, 1938, she was the daughter of Carmen Fortino and Filomina Notar Fortino. She lived in Camillus for more than 40 years. Mary Ann's interests included flowers, particularly roses, lilacs and tiger lilies, baking, especially ambrosia pie, pumpkin pie and cut-out cookies, and shopping. Her husband, Alexander Oliver Fatcheric, died April 7, 2001. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Fatcheric of Camillus and Alex and Janet Fatcheric of Pensacola, Florida; granddaughters, Alexandra and Gwen Fatcheric; sisters, Viola Lambert of Syracuse and Olga Goult of Fairmount; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Friends may call Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
