Martin Johnson, 73, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a valued member of the community who left an indelible mark on those around him. Martin's journey began at Corcoran High School, where he graduated in 1969. Later in life, he pursued his passion for technology, earning an IT certificate from OCM BOCES. Beyond his professional pursuits, Martin was a man of diverse interests and passions. He was a collector of many different eclectic items. Martin’s love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for camping, hiking, and biking, and he enjoyed playing basketball at the YMCA. Yet, above all else, his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved family, especially his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-grand-nephews. Martin’s devotion to his loved ones knew no bounds, and his presence enriched their lives in countless ways. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will forever be remembered by his family and those who had the privilege of knowing him.
