Mark Daniel "Danny" Edmonds, 67, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Utica, he was a Navy veteran.
Mark received his bachelor's degree in nursing from Syracuse University. He retired from the VA Medical Center where he worked as a registered nurse. Mark's life was riding his Harley. He was a member of the Valley Desperados Motorcycle Club. Above all, Mark loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Mark was predeceased by his father, S. Robert Edmonds; and son, Brian Matthew Edmonds.
Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Patricia Edmonds; his mother, Marguerite Edmonds of Remsen; children, Melissa (Bob) Eaton of Remsen, David (Jessica) Edmonds of Syracuse, and Katherine (Dan) Gilbert of Munnsville; stepdaughters, Amy (Kevin Rawson) Goodwin of Syracuse and Melissa (Tim) Miner of Camillus; grandchildren, Devin and Skylar Eaton, Lilly and Collin Gilbert, Taylor and Alex Goodwin, Lauren and Rachel Miner; sisters, Nancy (Eddie) Kahler of Addison, Maine and Julie (Alan) Jones of Remsen; nephews, Christopher and Scott Jones; and several cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Mark will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
