Marjorie A. King, 87, of Camillus, passed away Monday at Loretto. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse and Camillus area. Marjorie was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Commercial High School and worked for Marshalls for over 27 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and was an avid reader and loved her dogs.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in 1986, and granddaughter, Elizabeth, in 2019.
Surviving are her sons, Brendan of Syracuse and Richard of New Jersey; daughter, Mary Beth (James) Welch of Syracuse; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 19 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Marjorie will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
