Marion Moon

Marion Moon, 101, of Henderson Harbor, passed away Wednesday at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation. A lifetime resident of the Camillus area, she was a graduate of Chateaugay High School. An avid reader, Marion enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Claude; parents, Frederick and Myrtle Chaffee; two brothers; and one sister.

Surviving are her son, Cass (Cheryl Naylor); grandchildren, Alicia (Melissa Ferreira) Moon, Brian (Danielle) Moon, and Chelsea (Gregory) Baum; great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Chaffee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and former daughter-in-law, Lisa Dombrosky.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, June 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home. 

Marion will be laid to rest in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
