Marilyn A. Garn Bryant, a resident of Westvale for 57 years, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at University Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Wednesday, November 5, 1930, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her son, Francis Patrick, parents, Mary and Francis Garn, and sister, Kathleen Garn. Marilyn graduated from Vocational High School and CCBI. She worked at Kallfelz Bakery, NY Telephone Co., and Crouse-Hinds. She also did secretarial work at St. Charles Borromeo Church and Bishop Ludden High School. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, William J. Bryant, Sr.; sons, William J. Bryant, Jr. (C. Jeanne) and Sean Francis Bryant; grandchildren, William J. Bryant III, Tonya M. Bryant, Colleen F. Mattox, Karolyn Rose Bryant, Julie A. Bryant and Danielle P. Bryant; brother, F. Robert Garn; sisters, Carol Menapace, Mary Janet Pirong, Dorothy Pirong and Sally Miller; five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church where Rev. Peter Reddick will celebrate a funeral Mass. Friends may call Friday, October 20, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
