Marian L. Vryhof, 85, of Camillus, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Summit, New Jersey on Wednesday, October 26, 1927, she was the daughter of Edward Orville Highbrown and Laura Coe Trowbridge Highbrown. She lived in Camillus since 1950. Marian retired in 1989 from Van Duyn Home & Hospital. An elder at Taunton Memorial Presbyterian Church, she was also past matron of the Camillus Chapter #438 Order of Eastern Star, member of Taunton Home Interest Club and the Red Hat Society. Surviving are her children, Joseph Vryhof of Gastonia, North Carolina, Robert (Carol) Vryhof and Steven (Wendy) Vryhof, both of Camillus, Judy Bigness of Skaneateles Falls, and Alan (Laura) Vryhof of Syracuse; sisters, Helen Dayal and Laura (Alan) Bigness, both of Jordan; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, November 20 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus, followed by the Eastern Star service at 5:30 p.m. and Rev. Harold B. Sanderson officiating the funeral service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
