Marguerite "Marge" Shoudy, 94, formerly of Camillus, passed away Thursday in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of Vocational High School and moved to Camillus in 1949. Marge retired in 1986 from GTE Sylvania and then continued to work there part-time for many years thereafter. She was a member of several bowling and golf leagues, including the Business Women's League at West Hill. She was also an avid bridge player, volunteered at Community General Hospital, the Wilcox Octagon House, and was still involved in the planning of the annual Sylvania retirees picnic. Marge was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Leland, in 2008; sister, Dorothea Fitzgerald; and brothers, Robert and Francis "Busey" Fitzgerald. Surviving are her daughter, Suzanne S. (Ronald) Naples of Wynnewood, PA; sons, Stephen C. (Virginia) Shoudy of West Suffield, CT and Peter D. (Nancy) Shoudy of West Chester, PA; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 4 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial for Marge and her husband Leland will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marge's memory to the Wilcox Octagon House, 5420 W.
