Margaret M. Cianciola, 83, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Community General Hospital. Born in Utica on Friday, October 28, 1927, she was the daughter of Arthur Evan Lloyd and Margaret Elizabeth Scully Lloyd. After spending her early years in Utica, she moved to Camillus in 1956. Margaret was an active communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She was a member of the Legion of Mary, part-time money counter, and member and former president and vice president of the Altar & Rosary Society. Margaret was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile. An avid baker, she enjoyed decorating wedding, anniversary and children's specialty cakes. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, having received several ribbons at the New York State Fair. An avid bowler, she was a member of a league for many years and also appeared on "Bowling for Dollars." Surviving are her husband of 63 years, William J. Cianciola Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Gary Siebert of Lewiston, Maine; sons and daughters-in-law, William and Joyce Cianciola Jr. of Baldwinsville and David and Kerry Cianciola of Clifton Park; sister, Rita Edwards of Utica; brother-in-law, Philip Cianciola of DeLand, Florida; brother-in-law, Charles Cianciola of Whitesboro; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, November 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee Street, Camillus. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 1 at the funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Margaret will be laid to rest in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
