Marcia A. Ramsden, 79, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Camillus since 1964 and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church. Marcia enjoyed golf, travel, piano and playing cards with her friends. She was an avid supporter of the West Genesee Marching Band and SU football and basketball. Mostly, Marcia will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother. Marcia was predeceased by her sister, Marjorie Titus. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Richard; daughters, Jill Dupre and Judy Ramsden, both of Camillus; sisters, Debby (Joe) Weisbach of Pennsylvania and Beverly (Chuck) Banner of Arizona; brother, Gary (Diana) Nicholls of Florida; grandchildren, Britney, Lindsey, Jonathon and Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, March 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 28 at 10 a.m. in Immanuel United Methodist Church. Marcia will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
