Malcolm R. Campbell, 79, of Camillus, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday surrounded by family. A graduate of West Genesee High School, he grew up in Syracuse and was an Air Force veteran. Malcolm was employed by both Carrier Corp. and Keane Consulting, Inc. He enjoyed reading, especially military history, fishing and model shipbuilding. A jack-of-all-trades, he was always available to fix whatever was broken.
Malcolm was predeceased in 2019 by his wife of 53 years, the former Laura Kleinhans; parents, Malcolm and Mary Campbell; and brother, John Campbell.
Surviving are his daughters, Carleen Pensero of Baldwinsville and Cynthia Campbell of Syracuse; son, Michael (Laura) Campbell of Canton, MI; sisters, Carol McCrossen, Janice Horn and Turissa Campbell; brothers, Richard Mitchell and Neil Campbell; six granchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, March 12 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Burial will be in the spring at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Livonia.
