Maguy N. Thousand, 67, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in France, she lived in the Syracuse area for most of her life. Maguy was a graduate of LaFayette High School and worked in real estate for over 30 years. She was employed with Patricia Tom Real Estate, Realty USA, HUNT Real Estate and Royal Shell Real Estate, where she retired in 2017. Maguy was a member of the Greater Syracuse Area of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She enjoyed traveling, animals and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Frederick; daughter, Nadine (Daniel) Gilmore of Camillus; sons, Justin and Derick Thousand, both of Camillus; mother, Janine Rommevaux of Fayetteville; sister, Cherry (Ron) Lail of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Joel (Carol) Rommevaux of LaFayette, Nick (Cindy) Rommevaux of Little York and Pat (Wanda) Rommevaux of DeRuyter; grandchildren, Sydney, Madison and Reese; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, September 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
