Lynne Julian Pillion, 56, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away Friday at home. Born and raised in Utica, she resided in Liverpool and Camillus before moving to South Carolina in 2017. Lynne was a graduate of JFK High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. She was a claims adjustor for The Hartford for ten years and member of the Imperfect Church in Camillus. Lynne enjoyed ceramics and word search books, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lynne was predeceased by her father, Guy Julian.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, James Pillion Jr. of Murrells Inlet, SC; daughters, Sarah Pillion of Syracuse and Natalie (Benjamin Bradley) Pillion of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Bethany Lynne Pillion; mother, Shirley Julian of Liverpool; brother, Guy (Lisa) Julian of Cicero; sisters, Cheryl (George) Reed of Boerne,TX, (twin sister) Lisa (Richard) Kesel of Liverpool and Gina (Stephen) Saunders of Liverpool; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at noon. Lynne will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
