Lynda B. Loland, 80, of Camillus, passed away Saturday at University Hospital. Born and raised in Syracuse, she was a graduate of West Genesee High School. Lynda met and married her husband Ottar in 1963 and they moved to Norway several times, having most recently settled in Fairmount since 1986. A member of Fairmount Community Church, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her sisters and her high school friends, “The Girls”.
Lynda was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Rebecca Horton; and husband, Ottar in 2011.
Surviving are her daughters, Tanya of Camillus and Kristine of Jackson, WI; son, Hans (Cynthia) of Woodinville, WA; grandchildren, Cameron, Nani, Christian, Alex, Cooper and Cody; sisters, Judy (David) Clark of Hamilton, Toni (Ed) Olgeaty of Beaver Creek, OH and Donna (John) Uppole of Accident, MD; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
