Lucille Elizabeth Olin, 88, of Syracuse, died peacefully Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Van Duyn Rehabilitation and Nursing. She is survived by her daughter, Dana (Tim Thorp) Grillo; son, Paul (Shannon) Olin; grandchildren, Sam and Angela Ryder and Emma and Olivia Olin; great-grandson, Jack Perkins; and sister, Louise Morabito Meagher. Lucille worked for many years with the American Photograph Company. Her enjoyment of work turned her into a world traveler. Beyond her family, she loved many things including golf, tennis, skiing and her favorite miniature Yorkshire terrier, Shasta. Lucille was a sports fanatic, spending countless hours watching her beloved Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen. On occasion, she would somehow get lost at the Turning Stone or Atlantis only to return a few hours later with her contagious smile. She was an incredibly generous person. Her charm won her best friends the world over. She will be missed, but never forgotten. Services will be private at the request of Lucille. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank Cynthia and the wonderful staff at Van Duyn. Share condolences at www.BuranichFH.com
