Lisa Ann Bidwell, 62, of Camillus passed away peacefully Monday at Loretto Fahey Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. Lisa was born in Rochester and was a graduate of West Genesee High School and CCBI. She had an array of jobs; employed by the Sheraton University, Penn Advertising, Unity Mutual Life, Cadaret Grant, and Touching Hearts Home Care Services, forming many long-lasting friendships throughout the years. Lisa will miss all her incredible clients. She was a fantastic cook, who prepared countless delicious meals for her family. Lisa enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, fishing, and listening to music. Above all, she loved her family and her friends.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ann Bidwell; and her in-laws, Ed and Eva Waleski.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Richard Waleski; stepdaughter, Maya Waleski of Camillus; brothers, Bret (April) Bidwell of Hopewell Junction and David (Katherine) Bidwell of Syracuse; nephews, Thomas, Robert and Darren Bidwell; niece, Suzanne Bidwell; sister-in-law, Tina (Tim) Moran; brothers-in-law, Jim, Ed, Paul (Patty), Bill, and Donny (Ann) Waleski; aunt, Lois (Joe) Santarsiero of Scranton, PA, and several cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Loretto for their care and kindness.
At Lisa’s request, there will be no calling hours.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 14 at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse 13219. The mass will be livestreamed by the church at www.holyfamilysyr.org/live/ Lisa will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
