Lindsey (Hider) Dwyer, 44, of North Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center following a courageous battle with ALS. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Westhill High School and earned her associate degree from SUNY Morrisville. Lindsey was employed as an office manager at University Hospital for a year and previously worked as a travel agent for over 20 years. She enjoyed dancing with the Jazz Mamas and traveling, especially to Disney. Above all, Lindsey loved spending time with her family.
Lindsey was predeceased by her aunt, Nancy Duerr; and cousin, Richard Duerr Jr.
Surviving are her husband, Brian of North Syracuse; daughter, Amelia Rose Dwyer of North Syracuse; parents, William and Judy Hider of Westvale; sister, Alexis (Hubert) Yang of Springfield, VA; niece, Adele Yang; nephew, Elliot Yang; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Vincent Scialdone and Dignity Plus, especially Elaine, Laura, Brian, Ann and Patrick for their loving care and compassion.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, July 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Monday, July 2 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Lindsey will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
